4Schools are delighted to announce the release of the new Careers in the Curriculum workshops.
Available to every school across the UK, these bite-size interactive workshops bring the creative industry into the real world, connecting what students are learning in their school subjects to jobs in the TV & Broadcasting industry.
Teachers will be able to introduce the creative industry in a variety of main subject areas using dedicated workshops for KS3 and KS4 designed by our Learning Delivery Team. Workshops in English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Art and Design will be available beginning in October 2022.
Each self-delivered session is recommended to last 15-20 minutes – allowing for bitesize learning without disrupting your schedule. These sessions bridge the gap between school and the workplace by using real-life, relatable examples from popular shows such as Hollyoaks, Hunted, The Love Trap, and Stranger Things.
These mini-workshops are great as stand-alone sessions with your class or can be used as a follow-up to a 4Schools delivery to reinforce the student’s learning.
